Congo virus claims 4 lives

QUETTA: Congo virus has once again hit parts of interior Balochistan as four members of a nomadic family, including a child, have fallen prey to the disease in the last few days.

The cases of the latest victims, Ghulam, Jano, Razi Muhammad and Zubaida, who died within three days of the attack of the virus, were reported in Baden Tingi, a remote village in Qila Saifullah District. The epidemic is also reported in areas near the Afghan border. No medical facilities are available in the area due to which the death toll is likely to increase. online
