Terror suspect arrested near Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Dozens of intelligence agents raided a home in a town near Peshawar, and arrested a possible terror suspect, along with computers, discs and documents, a police officer and an intelligence official said on Monday.

The arrest was made in Shabqadar town, 25 kilometers north of the city of Peshawar, on Sunday night, a local police officer said on condition of anonymity.

The intelligence official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said they had not identified the suspect and wouldn’t explain why the evidence led them to suspect the man could be linked to terrorism. ap
