LHC adjourns registrar’s plea for construction of western wing

LAHORE: Justice Sheikh Abdul Rashid of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday put off till May 19 the hearing of an appeal by Dost Muhammad, LHC registrar, seeking construction of the western wing of the High Court building.

Earlier, chief architecture Punjab, secretary communication and works, and state counsel of the Punjab government presented a map for the construction of the LHC wing.

The petitioner asked from the court for some time before the map could be produced before the administrative committee of the high court for final approval.

The court gave 30 days to the secretary communication and chief architecture of Punjab to prepare and produce the map of the building. staff report
