MMA MPs meet today

LAHORE: The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Punjab’s parliamentary meeting will be held in the Punjab Assembly chambers on Friday (today). Asghar Gujjar will preside.

MMA member in the Punjab Assembly Dr Waseem Akhtar told Daily Times on Thursday that the six-party alliance would debate law and order in Punjab in the house. Regarding the MMA’s protest strategy, he said, “We shall discuss this issue at Friday’s meeting.” He said he would attend the session as he had filed his assets and liabilities statement in the election commission. “My income return forms had been lost, but now this matter has been resolved,” he added.
