UK defence team visits Lahore Fort
LAHORE: The commandant of the Royal College of Defence Studies, United Kingdom, Lt Gen (r) Sir Christopher Wallace, currently visiting Pakistan as head of a 13-member delegation, on Thursday visited historical places in the City. Mr Wallace and members of his entourage visited the Lahore Fort and went round the Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas and Sheesh Mahal. At the Badshahi Mosque, the distinguished guests were apprised about the historical background of the grand mosque. They praised the architecture of the Mughal period. —Staff Report
