Four-year-old boy murdered

LAHORE: The body of a four-year-old boy was found on the railway tracks near Walton Road on Sunday. Hasan Ali was kidnapped while playing outside his house in the Factory Area police jurisdiction three days ago.

Body found: The body of a man who was kidnapped by his rivals some five days ago was found in Shahdara Town police precincts on Sunday. Nasir Mehmood of Ferozewala had a property dispute with his relative Abdul Majeed. Majeed called Nasir for a meeting at Ali Park and killed him. Police arrested Majeed who later confessed to the crime.

Man injured in explosion: A supposedly defused bomb exploded in Misri Shah on Sunday leaving a labourer severely injured. Abdul Majeed was working at a scrap shop when the bomb exploded. He was rushed to Mayo Hospital where he is stated to be in critical condition.

Case against 4 cops: Old Anarkali police have registered a case against four police officers deputed at the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), Model Town, for beating up a lawyer. Inspector Rais Khan and three constables were allegedly beating up a cyclist at old Anarkali Chowk. When Advocate Chaudhry Faisal asked them to stop. Khan and the constables started hitting Faisal. Faisal contacted the Old Anarkali police. The assailants fled. The police registered a case against Inspector Khan and the constables under section 156 of the Police Order. staff report
