Ashraf Azeem appointed PTV Lahore GM

LAHORE Ashraf Azeem has been appointed the new general manger of the Pakistan Television Lahore Centre, a press release proclaimed Friday.

Mr Azeem replaced Tariq Saeed who has now been appointed the general manager at the PTV Islamabad Centre.

Born in 1950, Mr Azeem did his masters in English Literature from Government College Lahore and joined Pakistan Television in 1973 as a producer. He also obtained a masters degree in journalism and earned certificates in advanced communication from Washington.

He is a visiting professor at various leading institutes of the country. staff report
