LJ planning to assassinate Abida

ISLAMABAD: The Intelligence Bureau has informed Syeda Abida Hussain, political leader and former federal minister, that the banned militant outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (JI) was planning to assassinate her. Talking to Daily Times, Abida Hussain said this was the first time since 9/11 that she had received such a threat. She said the agency had advised her to keep a low profile and take extra security precautions. staff report
