Lahore awaits early summer
LAHORE: The meteorological office predicts an early summer if the current steady rise in temperature continues, APP reported.
Chief Meteorologist Shaukat Awan said the average temperature in the Punjab during the first 15 days of March had been five degrees higher than normal.
The maximum temperature recorded in Lahore on Monday was 32 degrees centigrade while the minimum was 180C. Humidity was 58 percent in the morning and 37 percent in the evening. The weather in Lahore over the next days will be partly cloudy, with a high of 290C and low of 160C on Tuesday, a high of 280C and low of 17 Con Wednesday and a high of 280C and low of 140C on Thursday, the met office predicted. Mainly dry weather is forecast for central and southern Punjab, partly cloudy for Islamabad and cloudy for the Northern Areas and Kashmir during next the 24 hours. —Staff Report
