JI mass wedding ceremony on 21st

LAHORE: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) will arrange a mass wedding ceremony for 200 girls at Noshera sports ground on March 21, a JI release said on Monday.

JI Ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmed will administer the Nikah. It said Al-Khidmat Women Trust had donated 50 dowry boxes for the ceremony.

Mr Ahmed said the JI would arrange more ceremonies all over the country. He urged people to help the JI get poor girls who couldn’t afford a dowry to get married. —Staff Report
