Three dead, 42 injured in bus accident

LAHORE: Three passengers were killed and 42 injured when a speeding bus over-turned on a motorway near Pindi Bhattian on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the bus was carrying forty-five Lashkar Tayyaba activists travelling to Pattoki to participate in the Jamaatul Dawa congregation. When it neared Pindi Bhattian, the bus driver lost control and the bus over-turned. Three passengers, including convoy leader Hamid, died instantly while 42 others sustained injuries and were taken to hospitals.
