Ex-APP journalist Chacha Rafiq dies

RAWALPINDI: The man formerly in charge of the news desk & former features editor of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Muhammad Rafiq, known as Chacha Rafiq, died on Wednesday after a long illness. He was 72 and father of Farooq Ahmad, APP Sports Editor. The ‘Namaz-e-Janaza’ for late Muhammad Rafiq will be held after Isha prayers in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
