Faisal annoyed at CDA
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat expressed his annoyance over the poor performance of Capital Development Authority and asked the high-ranking officials to pull up their socks.
He made these remarks during a brief visit to the CDA on Wednesday. He asked the officials of CDA to complete the ongoing projects within the stipulated time.
The Interior Minister asked the Chairman CDA to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of Mian Muhammad Aslam, MNA from the Federal capital, to resolve the issue of Sector D-12.
“I was apprised that chairlift at Shakerparian and the train project would be launched but no initiative has been taken so far,” Faisal remarked. Earlier, Chairman CDA Mir Liaq Shah briefed the Interior Minister about the main projects including land revenues, environment and development projects.
The Interior minister has been informed about the financial predicaments faced by CDA, Liaq shah told the journalists. He said that Interior Minister asked him to improve the conditions of the roads in the capital. —Staff Report
