Rocket, grenade explosions jolt Quetta

QUETTA: Two powerful explosions jolted the provincial metropolis on Wednesday, as a grenade was hurled into a school building and a rocket fired in the cantonment area.

Unidentified men hurled a hand grenade into the Fauji Foundation School in Cantt. The grenade exploded with a loud bang that damaged the school’s classrooms, but no casualties were reported.

Soon after the grenade explosion, unidentified men fired a rocket that fell ona road at Killi Paindkhel, near Koila Phattak, a few yards from Frontier Corps Headquarters. No casualties were reported. —Azizullah Khan
