Azhar enters political arena again to support Musharraf

LAHORE: Mian Muhammed Azhar, former Pakistan Muslim League-Qauid-e-Azam (PML-Q) president, has decided to enter the political arena again to promote the seven-point agenda of President General Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan Muslim League (PML) sources told Daily Times on Friday.

They said that Azhar had strengthened his political contacts with PML provincial leaders and district nazims to form a strong campaign against Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in Punjab. They said that he would represent the National Democratic Forum (NDF) to contest the forthcoming local bodies elections.
