PMA to observe black day against govt
LAHORE: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Punjab chapter on Monday announced that it will observe “black day” on December 20 against ‘bad government policies’ and delays in regularisation of doctors recruited on contract.
Talking to reporters at PMA House on Monday, PMA Punjab president Dr Dil Muhammad Mirza said that a PMA working council meeting attended by doctors from all districts decided to hold a conference on January 11 to highlight the issue of delay in regularisation of doctors.
Mr Mirza said that the allotment of basic health units to non-government organisations shocked the PMA. staff report
