Jails to get food prossessing units

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Jails Saeed Akbar Khan Niwani said to a delegation of the Islah-e-Asseraan Organisation on Saturday said that the government had decided to install with the cooperation of private sector, food processing units in all the jails of Punjab so that the prisoners could become useful citizens. He added that 50 percent of the income would go to the prisoners, while the rest wouldill be spent on developing the jails. —PPI
