No foreign troops in Pakistan: Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has criticised the Western media reports that foreign troops are arriving in Pakistan.

Talking to Pakistan Television on Friday, Mr Ahmad said the media was publishing “irresponsible” reports, adding that “Pakistan has no foreign pressure whatsoever in this regard”. “Pakistani forces are capable of defending the homeland and are competent enough to perform their professional duties,” he added. —APP
