3 robbers caught

LAHORE: The Mughalpura Police Friday nabbed members of the Kashif alias Kashi gang wanted in connection with various incidents of looting and theft in the city.

SP Cantt Dr Usman Anwar constituted a team headed by Ghaziabad SHO Shahid Chaddar, which raided a house in Sali Town, arrested three associates of the gang.

The accused during the initial investigation admitted to 12 cases of extortion and robbery in Cantonment, Naseerabad, and Defence. The accused were identified as Kashif alias Kashi, Gulzar, and Shahid alias Bala Butt. —Staff Report
