Security beefed up in Sukkur jails

SUKKUR: Following the escape of 10 dangerous prisoners of Central Jail-I Sukkur from police custody on Saturday afternoon, stringent security measures have been taken in the Central Jails-I and II Sukkur.

All the dangerous prisoners have been kept in barracks and are not being allowed to see their relations. It has also been decided not to send dangerous prisoners to courts for hearing of their cases and their trial will be held on the jail premises. staff report
