Karachi schools open on 14th

KARACHI: All Sindh schools and colleges will remain open on August 14 for the Independence Day celebration, Sindh Education Minister Irfanullah Khan Marwat announced on Monday.

Accordingly, students will assemble in their respective institutions on Independence Day and participate in the flag-raising ceremonies, recite the national anthem, and make speeches.

All government and private schools and colleges will re-open on August 18 as the institution’s buildings are being used to shelter flood victims. —APP
