1 killed and 5 injured as jeep falls into ravine

ABBOTTABAD: A person was killed and five of his companions were injured when a jeep, carrying timber and passengers, fell into a deep ravine on Saturday evening. The jeep fell from a bridge near village Chatian, while going to Qalandarabad from Tranwai area. A personal servant of the owner of the jeep, Mohammad Aziz, jumped out of the jeep during the incident, but unfortunately, the jeep fell on him and he died on the spot. The other five passengers were injured and had to be taken to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad. Two of the injured were stated to be in a precarious condition. online
