Hugh’s the man?
Daily Times Monitor
LAHORE: Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima and actor Hugh Grant met up four times this week, fuelling speculation in British tabloid The News of the World that the two are “much, much more than just good friends”.
Amanda Evans writes that the couple met up four days running this week and spent the whole of Wednesday night together at Jemima’s home in Fulham, West London, with some Indian food. Grant, 43, was seen leaving the next day at 1.30pm. “He emerged wearing a bizarre bull mask as a disguise and was driven away in a chauffeured Lexus 4x4,” says the paper.
The two met up earlier in the week on Monday when Jemima, 30, spent three hours at Grant’s house in Chelsea, a few minutes drive away. “She arrived just after lunch in her silver VW Touran wearing a sexy denim mini skirt, sandals and summery white short-sleeved top,” the celebrity-obsessed rag reported. An accompanying picture shows Jemima carrying a small beige canvas bag and drinking from a carton of juice. Another picture shows them later saying goodbye.
On Tuesday night, the two are reported to have met up at 7:30pm at Sir David Frost’s annual summer party at his home in Carlyle Square. “They looked very pleased to see each other and just couldn’t stop smiling,” said a guest at the party.
Jemima left the party with supermodel pal Elle Macpherson, and Grant duly showed up at her place in a taxi soon after. Jemima and Grant were seen leaving the house together at 11:20pm. An accompanying picture shows the two in a cab trying to hide their faces.
Imran Khan, 51, has publicly insisted that Hugh Grant had nothing to do with their divorce.
“The problems in my marriage date back at least two years. We tried our best but we just could not make it work. The basic issue was that I have to live in Pakistan and Jemima was unwilling to leave London,” the tabloid quoted him as having said.
Earlier this year, golf star Colin Montgomerie announced he and wife Eimear were separating after she was seen enjoying Grant’s company.
