Faisal to visit Kabul today

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat would visit Afghanistan today (Monday), Interior Ministry sources said. Mr Hayat would hold talks with his Afghan counterpart Ali Ahmed Jalali on bilateral issues, including security matters. The interior minister was also likely to meet Afghan President Hamid Karzai. The two sides would review cooperation in the war on terrorism. Meanwhile, Afghan Foreign Minister Dr Abdullah was likely to pay a three-day visit to Pakistan from July 13, diplomatic sources said. There was however no official word on Dr Abdullah’s visit, sources said. online
