Woman dies from acid burns
BAHAWALPURE: A woman hospitalised after her husband and in-laws allegedly threw acid on her died in Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital on Saturday. Atiqur Rehman told the Naushra Jadid police that his sister Rozina was killed by her husband Asgher after she opposed his plan for second marriage. On Friday, Asgher’s sister Fatima and Shammoo threw acid on Rozina and her little daughter Sonia when they were asleep. Both were taken to the hospital where Rozina died. staff report
