Sony downgraded

Moody’s Investors Service Inc. put Sony Corp.’s Aa3 long-term credit rating on review for possible downgrade, citing the company’s weakened prospects to generate profits. Despite efforts to restructure its operations, “Sony may take longer than expected to regain the strong profit and cash flow generation patterns seen before,” Moody’s said. —NYT
