Seven dead as minibus plunges into ravine

PESHAWAR: Seven people were killed and four seriously injured when a minibus plunged into a deep ravine in Buner, police said Tuesday.

“Brake failure caused the accident” late Monday, senior police officer Danishwar Khan told AFP by telephone from Buner.

Two brothers and a couple and their minor son died in hospital while two others died on the spot, he said. —AFP
