4 of a family murdered

KASUR: Four members of a family were murdered in a family dispute at village Gharyala Valtoya Chak No 28 in Pattoki Saddar on Sunday.

Police said accused Muhamamd Asim, the son of Muhammad Abbas Jat, used to quarrel with his father over family matters. Mr Jat again advised Mr Asim on Sunday to mend his ways, on which he got infuriated and shot dead his father, step-mother Yasmin, step-sister Sana Bibi and step-brother Samar Abbas. —APP
