PML-N not negotiating with govt, supports MMA: Pervaiz Malik
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is not negotiating with the government and supports the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), said MNA Mohammad Pervaiz Malik, PML-N central finance secretary, while talking to PML-N workers on Saturday. He said that the MMA has also ruled out the possibility of dialogue with the government. Malik said that although the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) had not reached a formal agreement with the MMA for collaboration, the ARD’s support was still intact. He said that the PPP remained aloof in the call for a general strike. He said that the PML-N was a moderate and progressive democratic party. He said that PML-N was not an extremist party and supported religious parties because it believes in Islam and democracy. staff report
