Man dies doing wheely on bike
LAHORE: A man was killed while attempting to do a wheely in Kotlakhpat police jurisdiction on Saturday. Khurram Mehmood, 20, lost control of his bike and fell, receiving severe head injuries. He was rushed to General Hospital, where he died after a few minutes. He was the only son of his parents.
More than 27 bikers lost their lives doing similar stunts last year.
Guard killed defying robbery: A security guard was killed in the Lohari Gate area on Saturday. Muhammad Khan, 26, was a guard at jewelry shops in Suwa Market. Three unidentified men tried to rob New Variety Jewelers and Khan died in a shoot out with them. His body was sent for an autopsy. The shopkeepers of the market staged a protest demanding the arrest of the culprits.
Girl killed: A girl was killed in Garden Town area. The police said that Hina Basharat, 16, who was a resident of Islampura, was shot dead by unidentified men at 174 Garden-Block on Saturday. staff report
