Nawaz vows to form alliance against dictatorship
LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has vowed to incorporate all religio-political forces to make an alliance against the oppressive forces ruling Pakistan.
According to Pir Fazle-e-Haq, the central secretary general and head of Jamiat Mashaikh from Jeddah, Nawaz condoled Haq on his father’s death. During one hour-long conversation, they discussed several issues, including the political situation and law and order in the country.
Nawaz vowed to take all political forces who wanted the elimination of dictatorship, restoration of true democracy in the country. He said the time for accountability had arrived.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader said that his party was a democratic force and had never taken a solo flight. He said that the PML-N would eradicate all draconian laws from the country after assuming power.
Nawaz said that he and his sincere friends had never been afraid of prisons and they were working for the betterment of the country despite being in exile.
He said that some PML leaders had been working for power and they had abandoned the track defined by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He called upon public circles not to be disappointed over the existing situation of Pakistan, saying that the sun of tyranny would soon set.
Haq also assured Nawaz of his party’s cooperation. He said that all democratic forces would work to restore true democracy in the country. online
