Demo against expulsion of Pak diplomat

MULTAN: The Shabab-i-Milli Pakistan here on Sunday demonstrated against the expulsion of acting high commissioner Jalil Abbas Jeelani and his four staff members by Indian government and institution of a case against the Pakistani diplomat.

The participants said the vilification campaign launched by Indian government was a violation of diplomatic norms. About 100 activists of SMP, carrying placards and banners against Indian government, raised slogans, “break diplomatic ties with India,” “Vajpayee a war-monger”, “Vajpayee a killer of Kashmiris”, and “withdraw case against Pak diplomat”. Later the angry demonstrators burnt the national flag of India and effigy of the Indian prime minister. —Staff Report
