1,325 Pakistanis to return from Muscat today
ISLAMABAD: A group of 1,325 illegal Pakistani immigrants released from jails in Muscat will return to Pakistan in two boats today (Wednesday) and Friday.
Syed Fahad Burney, the vice chairman of the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International, said the released Pakistanis would arrive back home on Wednesday by Al Fajar boat, while the other 723 will arrive after two days by Al Harabi boat. He said these Pakistanis were arrested by the Oman Boarder Security Force while they were entering Muscat illegally. The released Pakistanis were seen off by the Pakistan Embassy’s Welfare Attaché, Sohail Siddiqi, at the Muscat seaport in Oman.
Fahad Burney said that the released Pakistanis would arrive at Ghas Bander, Keemari in Karachi.
