LAHORE: Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, said on Tuesday that sincerity and commitment was required by both Pakistan and India to resolve the lingering Kashmir issue, a private news channel reported.
Addressing a public gathering in New Delhi, Imran said, “People of both Pakistan and India want good relations and they want their leaders to resolve the longstanding Kashmir issue through peaceful means.”
Imran met former Indian prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and stressed improvement in relations between Pakistan and India. Mr Vajpayee presented his poetic collection to Imran, saying his message of peace should be conveyed to the people of Pakistan.
