Musharraf in Quetta to attend FC functions

QUETTA: President General Pervez Musharraf arrived here on Wednesday to attend Frontier Corps’ ceremonies. He will also address notables of the area.

The president will attend the Frontier Corps’ food festival and passing out parade of the cadets today. Later he will address notables, tribal elders, lawyers and political and social figures. Security was beefed in the Balochistan capital. Routes for the president’s convoy were sealed while schools in the area were asked to remain closed on Thursday.
