CM reviews pre-flood plans tomorrow

LAHORE: Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will review the preventetive flood arrangements made in districts on July 2 at the Chief Ministers’ Secretariat. Official sources said that Safdar Javed Syed, Board of Revenue senior member, who is also the relief commissioner and Flood Commission chairman, will give a detailed presentation on the measures taken to protect people from possible flood devastation. Mian Muhammad Akram, Relief Department flood director, has finalised the flood plan. All the provincial heads of agriculture, telecommunication, health, livestock, communication and irrigation departments and the chief secretary, additional chief secretary and home secretary will be present. app
