WAPDA chairman receives consumers’ complaints
LAHORE: Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Chairman Lt Gen (r) Zulfiqar Ali Khan on Monday personally received consumers’ complaints in the Chairman’s Complaint Cell (CCC) at the WAPDA House, Lahore. Orders to repair problems were issued by the chairman, Power member, the Coordination & Monitoring general manager, the Operations general manager and the Customer Services general manager. Usually a lieutenant colonel mans the complaint cell as Chairman’s Complaint Cell director. His staff consists of two deputy directors and a support staff. The complaint cell staff maintains contact with field offices located throughout Pakistan and working under the respective Distribution Companies (DISCOs). Consumers from all areas of Pakistan contact the cell for registration and resolution of their complaints. —Staff Report
