Altaf will be keynote speaker at India moot

KARACHI: The Mutahidda Qaumi Movement’s self-exiled leader, Altaf Hussain, will be the keynote speaker at an international conference to be held in New Delhi by the Hindustan Times, an MQM spokesman said on Sunday.
Mr Hussain’s address would follow a speech by the Indian Foreign Minister, Natwar Singh. Former US foreign secretary Henry Kissinger will speak after him, the spokesman said.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, President of Sri Lanka Chanderika Kumaratunga, ex-prime minister of Britain John Major, Foreign Minister of Thailand Sarakiarut Sathathi, President of the Indian ruling party Congress Sonia Gandhi, and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah will attend the moot.
