PMA officials slam Dr Elahi

LAHORE: Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) officials have accused Dr Saeed Elahi of misusing the PMA’s name and calling himself ‘patron-in-chief’ of the association.

Talking to reporters on Sunday, PMA officials Dr Zahid Mohiuddin, Dr Azeemuddin Zahid, Dr Shahid Malik, Dr Wajid Ali and others said that Dr Elahi and his group were trying to occupy the PMA Trade Centre at Ferozpur Road. PMA officials said that they had documents to prove that Dr Elahi and his group had nothing to do with the ownership of the centre.

They accused Dr Elahi of working for a “qabza group”. They said that they had stay orders from a court stating that nobody else could call themselves PMA’s officials. Dr Elahi was not available for comment.
