Sino-Pak land route closed

GILGIT: The land route between China and Pakistan in Gilgit was closed due to heavy snowfall and landsliding on Friday. Officials said the main land route connecting China and Pakistan was closed every year from December 31 to May 1 under a trade accord signed in 1885 between the Northern Areas’ administration and China’s Sinkiang province. online
