Eidul Azha likely on 21st

ISLAMABAD: Eidul Azha is expected to be celebrated in Pakistan on January 21 (Friday). A Meteorological Department spokesman said that there were strong chances of sighting the Zilhaj moon on January 11 subject to confirmation by the moon sighting committee, therefore the 10th of Zilhaj would fall on January 21. He said the age of moon should be over 19A hours at the time of twilight for sighting the new Zilhaj moon. online
