Eight militants killed in Orakzai

HANGU: At least eight militants were killed and several others injured in an ongoing operation by the security forces in parts of Orakzai Agency, officials said on Sunday. Security officials said that the forces conducted an operation with the assistance of military jets in Mamozai, Algaji and Landu Qamar areas of the Upper Orakzai Agency. They said that the forces killed eight militants during the operation and destroyed their three hideouts. Panic and fear gripped the area due to bombardment and shelling. Pakistani forces have been combating the terrorists in the region, while military actions against the Taliban have increased in recent days. online
