Terrorist killed, six held in Bannu

BANNU: A terrorist was killed and six others were arrested following a clash with security forces in Bannu on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, security forces launched a search operation in Mandan area of Bannu, where terrorists were believed to be hiding.

The terrorists attacked the troops, who opened retaliatory fire, killing one attacker and apprehending six others.

On Friday, security forces and police conducted a joint operation in Bannu after a suicide bomb struck the convoy of Khyber Pakhutnkhwa chief minister. online
