Israel’s attacks in Gaza condemned

LAHORE: All Pakistan Trade Union Federation (APTUF) strongly condemned Israel army brutal attacks on November 14 on innocent Palestinian, including women and children in Gaza.

This was said by the speakers in meeting of APTUF that was chaired by APTUF General Secretary Rubina Jamil. Fazal-e-Wahid, Sultan Khan, Nasir Gulzar, Muhammad Ilyas, Shabbir Shah, Muhammad Ashraf, Yasir Gulzar and Anwar Gujjar also attended the meeting.

This attack marks the latest stage of policy of collective punishment and killing practiced by Israel against the people of Gaza. Israel had imposed an illegal siege on Gaza and created a devastating humanitarian crisis for the 1.5 million people trapped there, speakers said.

They condemned United States government for supporting the attacks on Gaza and encouraging the Israeli government to continue their use of warplanes, naval vessels on the coastal area of Palestine and their indiscriminate launching of bombs and missiles.

This would be disregard of the lives and human rights of the Palestinian.

The speakers said that the Israel attack on civilians in Gaza was a war crime and also a crime against the humanity. They alleged that Western states were supporting -financially, military and diplomatically - Israel to continue its aggression against Palestinian. APTUF would continue its moral support to Palestinian’s struggle for independence. The APTUF also has condemned the US policy of war on terror, which has never brought a just and comprehensive peace. pr
