Big congregations in mosques on Jumatul Wida

Karachi: Huge congregations were witnessed in the mosques of Karachi on Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of holy month of Ramazan. Hundreds of thousands of people offered the Friday prayers on the Jumatul Wida. Mosques in all parts of the city were filled to capacity. In many areas special arrangements were ensured to offer prayers on nearby roads and streets. In their Friday sermons, the prayer leaders prayed for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. They also focused on the topics of peace, brotherhood and help of the needy people. The police and Rangers took strict security measures on the occasion. ppi
