Schoolteacher shot dead in Kech

QUETTA: A schoolteacher was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Kech district on Wednesday. According to Levies Force sources, unidentified armed men opened fire on Mullah Ahmed in Zamran area of Kech. Consequently, he sustained multiple bullet wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. “The deceased was a schoolteacher and further investigations are underway,” a Levies official said. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained immediately. The body was handed over to its heirs after medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a case against unidentified attackers. staff report
