PRGMEA concerned over customs strike

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) voiced concern over the on-going custom agents strike on increase goods handling charges at Quaid-e-Azam International Ariport.

Central Chairman PRGMEA, Shehzad Salim on Wednesday stressed the relevant authorities to resolve the issue because garment exporters air-shipments were getting delayed and international buyers were losing their patience with Pakistani suppliers.

Buyers are constantly complaining the delays and it was much easier working with other countries such as Bangladesh and Vietnam, they added. ppi
