Book Launch of 'The Wings of Time' held

LAHORE: The launch ceremony of a book titled 'The wings of Time' by Salma Mahmud was held at a local club on Thursday.

The book is an attempt by the author to rediscover her father, Dr MD Taseer, the eminent poet, critic, teacher and administrator. In the book, Salma describes the adventures and struggles her father went through during his life. The book also describes Taseer’s unique contemporaries, who exemplify the irreplaceable literary milieu that has vanished forever. The launch was organised by Haranand Publication Delhi Chairman Narendra Kumar and Rao Mahmud Elahi. staff report
