Bad publicity to affect pharma exports: KCCI

KARACHI: The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) has said that bad publicity of the whole pharmaceutical industry would affect around $200 million pharmaceutical exports of the country and bring a killing impact on domestic level of around 400 manufacturing units, contributing 70 percent to the national need. KCCI President Mian Abrar Ahmad condoled the death of patients at Pakistan Institute of Cardiology and urged all concerned to stop manhandling of the matter as it is an isolated case and wait for the judicial commission’s report. staff report
