PASTIC arranges photography workshop

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC) on Friday organised a training workshop on the theme of “Art of Scientific Digital Photography with Advanced Features”.

The objective of the workshop was to train the scientists in the field of digital photography for better presentation of their research work through professional techniques. Maqsood Ahmed, a senior photographer having 30 years of hands on experience in the field of scientific photography, was invited as a resource person.

PASTIC Director General Dr Khalil Ahmad inaugurated the course. A number of scientists and researchers from PASTIC, Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) and Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) participated in the training workshop.

The participants learnt various facets of scientific photography in terms of fixed point and field photography.

They practiced their learning about the subject through group work. PASTIC director general distributed certificates on the conclusion of the training. app
